Kranevo is a small holiday resort situated in a sheltered bay, 25km north of the city of Varna. It lies just beyond the northern end of Golden Sands and at the southern part of a long beach, which extends towards the luxurious resort of Albena to the north. For its clean and vast beaches the village rapidly becomes a destination to attract more and more tourists. It is positively a calm place to have rest, but still not missing restaurants, bars, night clubs and suchlike.
Near Kranevo on the north, there is the town of Balchik with its ancient palace and on the south there is the famous Aladzha rock monastery. The beach is wide and covered with light sand. Sea is shallow with slight inclination. The camps International and Exotic are situated by the coastline. North from Kranevo is the valley of Batova river.
